Overview of Colorectal Cancer Research Study

Our current colorectal cancer research study is a 1-visit study to determine if a blood screening test is an efficient means of detecting colorectal cancer or other diseases. In your one (1) time visit it will be determined if you are eligible to participate in the study and if eligibility is determined then you are subject to a blood draw. The blood samples will be collected in multiple tubes, and will be tested and compared to your colonoscopy results.

You may be eligible to take part in the study if you:

  • Are at least 40 years of age or older at time of consent and screening

  • Intended to undergo screening colonoscopy

  • Considered as being ‘average risk’ of colorectal cancer by a physician or health care provider

You may be compensated for time and travel, up to $575 for each completed study visit, $75 for completing stool sample collection (if applicable), and $300 if the patient undergoes colonoscopy.
